Policies and Procedures

Whether you need a web site or already have one, below are the general guidelines for how we conduct business.

If you have any questions or concerns that are not addressed here or in our FAQ's, please contact us via email at service@RimkusWebSolutions.com, or use our web form.

1. Initial Contact - This begins with you contacting us through email or our web form. You let us know which service(s) you are interested in, and the best way and time to contact you. A member of Rimkus Web Solutions will then contact you within the next business day.
2. The Proposal - After discussing your needs, Rimkus Web Solutions will then submit to you a formal proposal. It will include all work to be completed, an estimated time schedule and a final, itemized list of costs. At this time, a signature and 50% of the development cost, and if applicable, one month of hosting, will be required for work to begin. Your "anniversary date" for monthly hosting and domain name renewals will be the next business day from when your signature and payment are received.

   Rimkus Web Solutions neither creates or maintains warez web sites, nor creates or maintains web sites containing adult content.

3. Development Begins - Work is now underway on the service(s) you have chosen. If a new site is being created, your domain name will be registered and a "Coming Soon" page will appear on your site. You will also be able to see your site as it develops.
4. Interaction and Continued Development - As needed, we will be in contact with you so you can see your work progressing. Inevitably in new site creations, some back and forth communication is required as layout, color and graphic issues need fine tuning once you can see them on the screen. We'll work with you to make sure everything is perfect.
5. Final Approval - Once your project is completed to your satisfaction, you will receive an "Approval of Completion" letter. In signing and returning this letter to Rimkus Web Solutions, you agree that all work had been completed to your satisfaction. At this point, the remaining 50% of the Proposal total is due. Once we receive the signed Approval Letter and payment is made, your work will then be transferred to you. In the case of a new web site, it will be made "live".
6. Continued Service - If you have chosen our Silver or Gold hosting plans, we will remain in contact with you to maintain your site as you need.
